10 Annoying Mistakes You Never Noticed In Friends
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10. Monica’s Apartment Changes Numbers
9. Ross Is 29-Years-Old (For Three Years)
Ross, however, needs to be taken in and studied by scientists, given that he doesn’t age for 3 entire seasons of show – he mentions that he’s 29-years-old in seasons 3, 4 and 5, despite the fact that we’ve seen three individual Christmas and Thanksgiving episodes over this period, proving that time really has passed and that our palaeontologist friend isn’t getting any older. That’s the power of Unagi, I guess.
8. Oh, And He Has Two Birthdays
On two separate occasions, Ross mentions his birthday month to Joey in conversation. First, he claims it’s in December. Years later, he says he was born on October 18th. And so the enigma that is Ross Geller grows ever more mysterious (and terrifying).
7. Chandler Can’t Cry? Not According To Phoebe….
he plot of episode “The One Where Chandler Can’t Cry” concerns the fact that Chandler hasn’t cried since he was a child and that he has no emotions, and that everyone now has to try and make him cry for the sum of the episode – and yet in series 3, a brief story is recounted about a time where Phoebe made Chandler “cry like a baby.” Which sort of ruins the latter plot, doesn’t it? I mean, not really, but… sort of really. A lot.
6. Phoebe’s Dad Left Before She Born (Except He Didn’t)
Mr. Buffet , who she constantly claims ran out on on her before she was born. And yet, when Frank actually turns up in a later episode, he mentions that he was around when she was a kid, and even sung her songs at bedtime. Get your memories fixed, Pheebs.
5. Chandler & Rachel Had Met Way Too Many Times Before The Pilot To Not Recognize One Another
4. Carol Was Pregnant For A Really, Really Long Time
3. Chandler Wants A Gym Membership/Already Has A Gym Membership That He Doesn’t Use
In “The One In Vegas,” which – yes – takes the gang to Las Vegas, Chandler mentions that – should he win $5,000 gambling – he’d use the money to join a gym and build-up his upper body strength (yeah, right). Still, everyone can dream, can’t they? There’s nothing wrong with just saying he wants to get fit, is there? Nope, except that both Chandler (and Ross, for that matter) already have gym memberships that they seldom use but don’t have the guts to quit prior to this instance.
