Friends 21th anniversary: See the cast then and now
Twenty years have passed since the Friends hit our screens.
A lot's happened since to the six actors who lit up our screens for more than a decade with their comedy antics.
There have been TV shows like Dirt and Cougar Town for Courteney Cox, a megastar movie career, and more rumoured pregnancies than anyone else ever for Jennifer Aniston, and Lisa Kudrow has even done the impossible and made huge comebacks in The Comeback - twice.
Matthew Perry has rarely been away from screens with multiple films and sitcoms to keep him busy, and David Schwimmer has become a crime-fighting darling of Broadway.
Matt LeBlanc even played Joey in the Friends spin-off, er, Joey, before starring in a hit show with Episodes.
Well, wonder no more! We've got the low-down on all you need to know about the stars who played Ross, Chandler, Joey, Pheobe, Monica and Rachel TWENTY years after the first episode aired.
All together now...I'll Be There For Yooouuuu...
Courteney Cox (Monica Gellar)
It would be rude not to start with the birthday girl, after all.
Since leaving behind Friends Courteney split from her actor husband David Arquetteand is now engaged to Snow Patrol guitarist Johnny McDaid.
The rocker is almost 13 years her junior so Courteney is obviously making the most of the saying life begins at 50.
The pair were introduced by flame-haired singer Ed Sheeran while he was living in LA last year. They are now living together in Courteney's Malibu mansion.
Courteney now stars in Cougar Town, a show about women dating younger men. We'll leave you to draw the comparisons.
David Schwimmer (Ross Gellar)
Actor-turned-crime-solving sleuth isn't the career description that instantly comes to mind when you think about dear old David, who played geeky Ross.
But the actor showed he's not just a dab hand at acting as he helped NYPD cops solve a stabbing crime involving a neighbour, transgender prostitute and a robber.
The whole bizarre altercation happened next door to the star's $4million home in New York and David assisted cops by giving them CCTV footage from his own security cameras to help build a case against the suspects.
Aside from being a bit of a Columbo, Schwimmer also provides the voice for Melman the giraffe in the animated Madagascar films.
Lisa Kudrow (Pheobe Buffay)
Lisa pipped her former acting bud Courteney to the post by turning 50 last year.
With age obviously came a new-found confidence as the star recently opened up about a nose job she had when he was just 16.
She said: "I went from, in my mind, hideous to not hideous."
Lisa - who played ditsy Pheobe who was the surrogate mother for her brother's three children - will return to screens in The Comeback.
Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green)
We all longed for the happily ever after for Rachel and her-long-time love Ross. And the same can be said for Jennifer Aniston in her real-life relationships.
After a fairytale wedding to amazingly gorgeous Brad Pitt things came to a nasty end in 2005 when Brad dumped Jen for Angelina Jolie, who was co-starring with him in the action comedy Mr and Mrs Smith.
Jen then endured failed relationships with actor Vince Vaughn and musician John Mayer - who reportedly ended their romance by text. Ouch.
But it seems Jennifer has finally met her 'Ross' in the shape of filmmaker Justin Theroux. The pair are engaged and are set to tie the knot this year. Yey!
Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani)
Matt LeBlanc had us giggling for the best part of a decade with his portrayal of struggling actor Joey Tribbiani. And when the show came to an end he launched a spin-off...aptly called 'Joey'.
The show was a bit of a flop and Matt took five years off before returning to the small screen in Episodes where he plays a version of himself.
He has a daughter from a previous relationship and is now dating actress Andrea Anders.
Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing)
On the telly he looked like happy-go-lucky Chandler but in his personal life Matthew Perry was battling with a drink and drug addiction while filming Friends.
The true extent of his struggles only surfaced after the sitcom came to an end and Matthew admitted he was a "sick guy".
He even tried to hide it from his co-stars, later admitting: "Mostly it was drinking, you know, and opiates.
"I think I was pretty good at hiding it but, you know, eventually people were aware."
Matthew is now sober and had even opened a sober living home for addicts to come to terms with the transition from rehab back to real life.
