All the ‘Friends’ are suddenly headed back to TV !

All the ‘Friends’ are suddenly headed back to TV.

Forget that “Friends” reunion — the real exciting news for fans of the NBC sitcom is that many of the cast members are suddenly getting new TV shows.
Matt LeBlanc has gotten two TV jobs in the course of a week — first as the new co-host of the UK’s “Top Gear” (which airs in the US on BBC America) and then as the star of a CBS comedy pilot. Called “I’m Not Your Friend,” the sitcom casts the “Friends” alum as a contractor who is left to raise the kids when his wife goes back to work.
Then on Tuesday night, Fox picked up a comedy pilot from Courteney Cox (whose “Cougar Town” went off the air last year). According to the network, she’ll star in “Charity Case” as a widow who inherits her late billionaire husband’s charity and discovers that changing the world isn’t that glamorous.
Add to that David Schwimmer — the only cast member not to do his own series post-“Friends” — is getting rave reviews for his turn as Robert Kardashian in FX’s miniseries “The People v. O.J. Simpson.”
Meanwhile, Matthew Perry’s “Odd Couple” is set to return to CBS for Season 2 in April, and Lisa Kudrow just had a cameo on the series premiere of “Angie Tribeca.”
So what about Jennifer Aniston? The actress with the highest level of post-“Friends” fame has seen her movie career sputter of late, with awards snubs for “Cake” and mediocre comedies like “Horrible Bosses” and “We’re the Millers.”
It’s not too late to do TV, Jen!
